David is a product management and experience design coach with over fifteen years of leading SaaS-based SMBs and global corporations. As a PMI-certified product leader, David coaches executives and their product, design, and development teams on how to bring more valuable and scalable products to market. Practicing a user-centered, design-thinking approach to solving product challenges, David focuses on improving user satisfaction and adoption through helping companies design and deliver a greater value proposition.

As a product management thought leader, David’s is often sought after as a speaker, in the form of a guest podcaster for Pragmatic Institute and a webinar host to hundreds of product managers for Product Management Today. David has also presented to corporate boards, venture capital and angel firms, and startup founders through accelerators like the UCLA Anderson Venture Accelerator.

David served as the interim Chief Product Officer at CareerArc during its transition to a SaaS-based, pioneering social recruiting platform. David was instrumental in developing a new product strategy and operational plan. This included branding, product marketing, product and development staff training in product management best practices and an increase in cross-departmental collaboration. Before founding VP Product Coaching, David served as Vice President of Product and User Experience at Elevate Services, where he built and managed a cross-functional team of product managers, UX designers, and front-end coders. At Elevate, David developed and shepherded the product strategy and evolution of the Cael Product Suite to help Elevate grow revenue from $30 million to $82 million in four years. Elevate has successfully raised over $50 million in equity and debt since 2015. Prior to joining Elevate, David served as the Head of User Experience at Thomson Reuters Elite, building and managing a global team of UX and product designers for best-in-class mobile apps and desktop products for the global law firm and corporate in-house legal enterprise markets. In April 2023, Thomson Reuters sold a majority stake in Elite to TPG, a global asset management firm, for $500 million.
